After treating several patients with infection, he found that although the infections
cleared up it recurred within a few months. After taking a closer look, Dr. Omura
found organisms seemed to hide and flourish where there are concentrations of heavy
metals like mercury, lead and aluminum and use these toxic metals to protect themselves
from medication. It was while testing for these metals that he discovered that cilantro
could accelerate excretion of mercury, lead and aluminum from the body.
His discovery resulted in a novel technique which greatly increased the body’s ability
to clear up recurring infections, both viral and antibacterial. When used with other
natural antiviral or antibiotic agents and/or omega-3 fatty acids, the infections
could be eliminated for good.
To take advantage of this poor man’s chelation treatment, all it takes is adding
cilantro to your diet, perhaps adding it to your salad or trying out some of the
recipes in the videos. Below is a simple recipe for cilantro pesto.
1 clove garlic
½ cup almonds, cashews or other nuts
1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
2 tbsps. lemon juice
6 tbsps. olive or flaxseed oil
Sea salt to taste
Put ingredients in blender and process to a lumpy paste. You can change the consistency
by adding olive oil and lemon juice but keep the 3:1 ratio of oil to juice. It freezes
well so you can make several batches at once.
The Natural Chelator
Chelation therapy has long been used to help remove heavy metals, but cilantro has
demonstrated this ability. Its medicinal benefits was discovered accidentally by
Dr. Oshiaki Omura when he noticed that mercury levels in urine increased after an
individual consumed Vietnamese soup which contained cilantro.
